Make Your Own Natural Mist!
I personally prefer doTERRA’s premade mix. It’s convenient and it doesn’t leave my hands dry. This recipe below might leave your hands a little dry and it won’t have bold of a smell profile. Buuut it will still work!
Ingredients:
- High quality mister (glass, stainless steel, or higher quality plastic – recycle your empty OnGuard mist bottle or your Terrashield bottle!)
- 10-15 drops OnGuard Essential Oil
- water
Directions:
Add OnGuard Essential Oil and water to your mister, shake before each use, spray as desired!
Yes it’s that easy and it’s that CHEAP.

Make Your Own Moisturizing Hand Cleanser
Ingredients
- stainless steel, glass, or high quality plastic container
- 1 part aloe vera
- 1 part water
- 1 part fractionated coconut oil (FCO) or jojoba oil
- 10 drops OnGuard Essential Oil
Directions
Mix the aloe vera, water, FCO, and essential oils in the container, shake before use, apply as desired.
I still don’t like this option as much as the mist but it’s absolutely an option.

I recommend only one brand of essential oils. Please do not use these tips if you are going to go out and buy the cheapest brands that you can find. When it comes to essential oils, you get what you pay for. There’s hardly any regulation on the essential oil market so you have to do your due diligence when purchasing oils.
