I love Cypress for its wonderful scent, but Cypress also promotes vitality when diffused, and topical application helps to invigorate the senses.
Description
Derived from the branches of the tall evergreen tree, Cypress essential oil has a fresh, clean aroma that’s energizing and refreshing. Cypress is frequently used in spas and by massage therapists. Cypress also contains monoterpenes, making it beneficial for oily skin conditions. It has a grounding, yet stimulating effect on the emotions, making it a popular oil to diffuse during times of transition or loss.

doTERRA Essential Oils
I recommend only one brand of essential oils. Please do not use these tips if you are going to go out and buy the cheapest brands that you can find.
When it comes to essential oils, you get what you pay for. There’s hardly any regulation on the essential oil market so you have to do your due diligence when purchasing oils.
After research, I fell on doTERRA. DoTERRA holds themself to the highest purity and safety standards on the market. Plus, they hold themselves to fair trade and sustainability practices.
You can learn more about doTERRA’s CPTG (Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade) standards on my blog post about it.
You can get doTERRA essential oils for full price here. Or you can get a costco-like wholesale membership and pay 25% less than retail. Learn more about the wholesale membership here.

I used Cypress + Grapefruit + fractionated Coconut oil in a roller bottle to help tone my thighs after having my 3rd baby last year. And then when I got a varicose vein on the top of my right foot, I began applying the Cypres roller to that and began REDUCING my varicose vein! I couldn’t put on socks initially because my foot was so painful, but then the Cypress helped me to be wearing socks just 5-6 days later! And I apply it 2-3x a week, and have not had a problem since!! I also love Cypress for massage therapy, as a Licensed Nassage Therapist, it is an incredibly beneficial oil!
