Let me introduce you to my favorite diffuser. It’s my WATERLESS Cloud diffuser by doTERRA. It’s the easiest thing in the world to use, affordable, and beautiful.

You heard that right…
WATERLESS.
No more refilling the water reservoir everyday (sometimes multiple times a day) and every evening. I set up the diffuser with my favorite oil, flip it on, and I don’t have to touch it again for SIX HOURS. It stays on a really long time and it covers 600 square feet!
Go grab your favorite oil you like to diffuse. We love diffusing Wild Orange. It’s uplifting, cleansing, and it’s super affordable.
Take the cap and the orifice reducer off. And screw the Oil bottle into the Oil Holder Nozzle.
Slide the Oil Bottle Nozzle back into the diffuser.
Choose how long you want the diffuser to run and how often you want it to pause and how much mist you’d like it to diffuse.
And the best part of this diffuser is the price. It’s $90 wholesale! That’s incredible for a WATERLESS diffuser! It’s just extra great that it’s also easy to use and beautiful.

So do you find the waterless diffusers use more oil?
Kaitlyn says
Yes, I think they use a little more oil. Just be careful not to have the waterless diffuser on the highest setting all the time. I still find that my bottle will last awhile even with the waterless diffuser. I love the Cloud and Ace diffusers because you can turn it on high or low and really make the bottle last. It’s totally worth it to me to just come downstairs in the morning and flip on the diffuser no hassle. But in a baby’s room at night I prefer just 2-3 drops in a water diffuser.
Karen says
Do you mix your own oils in old bottles and diffuse that too? Just wondering since with water diffusers I can diffuse different blends. Not sure if ill only be limited to diffuse simgle blends or already mixed blends by Doterra.
Kaitlyn says
You can definitely make your own blends! It’s just a different process from a water diffuser. Take an empty bottle and add your own homemade blend. So if I wanted to do the Happy Mama Blend, I’dd fill 1/3 of the bottle with Grapefruit, 1/3 with Bergamot, and 1/3 with Douglas Fir.
Renee Cohen says
Can you mix oils with fractionated coconut oil to dilute the oils a little. As I find them very strong.
Kaitlyn says
I would not. This diffuser is specifically made to be run with essential oil – not carrier oils. If it’s too strong then I’d suggest switching the settings lower or switching to a water diffuser.

Hi Kaitlyn,
I would like to find out from you if cloud diffuser suitable to diffuse thick essential oil like vetiver, sandalwood, or myrrh (easily become sticky after a new bottle is opened) and some blend oil which contain FCO like Balance, Whisper, Terrashield.
Kaitlyn says
I use oils with FCO in the blend all the time and haven’t had an issue. I personally haven’t tried to use a thicker oil in this particular diffuser yet though. If your thicker oil is extra thick, I’d roll it around in your hands some before attaching it to your diffuser. The oil tends to thin up some when it’s a little warmer.
Karrie says
How do you clean your Doterra cloud diffuser? Mine doesn’t disperse the oils anymore. Does this diffuser make a noise when it disperses the oil?
Kaitlyn says
Hey Karrie! You can’t really clean it besides wiping it off. Has it ever run with an empty bottle in it? It actually ruins the diffuser if it ever runs on empty. I did that to mine and killed it unfortunately.
Karrie says
Not that I can remember. I think the pump doesn’t work. On a you tube video I heard a chu chu not when it dispersed the oil out. It doesn’t make that noise. But the unit runs.
Nica says
Can you explain what each knob does? Would be more helpful! Don’t quite understand the difference between the aroma & timer buttons. Intensity of diffusing is in the on/off button! Thanks!
Willow says
Hi, Can I screw a Doterra 10-15mL roller bottle into this? Do you know if the threads are the same?
Kate says
Yes you can, it was created for that purpose. Unfortunately, this diffuser is no longer available.
